The development of Pain Relief was led by a research team comprising Professor Kan Xie (Guangdong University of Technology) and Chief Physician Wenfang Bai (Guangdong Provincial People’s Hospital / Guangdong Academy of Medical Sciences), along with other collaborators.

Alongside 197 other Chinese inventions, it was exhibited at the 49th International Exhibition of Inventions of Geneva in April 2024 and received a Silver Medal.

This invention has garnered widespread attention and sparked extensive exchange.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of China to the Swiss Confederation, Wang Shiting, and He Zhenfu, Vice Chairman of the China Invention Association, made a special visit to the exhibition booths of the aforementioned two inventions for an inspection tour. They not only attentively listened to detailed introductions regarding the innovations and contributions of the works but also offered suggestions for their future development.

Ambassador Wang Shiting emphasized: “The development of China’s new quality productive forces requires support from more innovative technologies and products with independent intellectual property rights. It also necessitates promotion and dissemination on international grand platforms for showcasing innovative technologies to demonstrate our nation’s innovation capabilities.”
